Our adventure in Coober Pedy starts early. Somewhere between the massive, almost dry salt lakes, the brush and the red dust along the Stuart Highway we hear a conversation over the CB radio. We鈥檇 just left Woomera and the words 鈥楥oober Pedy鈥� piqued our interest

Turns out he鈥檚 the CEO of the council, I jump on to our CB and say 鈥楾hanks鈥�. 鈥淲e鈥檙e also heading to Coober Pedy,鈥� I tell him. 鈥淎nd those are some great tips you鈥檝e just given us,鈥� so he keeps going.
