Like other social clubs in the neighborhood, the Centro Espa帽ol served as a cultural hub, providing education, health services, and a place to celebrate traditions while helping preserve the heritage of Ybor City鈥檚 immigrant community.

Opened in 2000, Centro Ybor transformed the historic site into a modern plaza while maintaining ties to the neighborhood鈥檚 past.
