2. Cerveceria Alemana

The oldest cerveceria in Madrid, this bar has been serving world class beer since 1904. With classic wood panels and bow-tie clad waiters, a stop here is a step back in time. Taberna Lamiak is located on the popular Calle de la Cava Baja in the La Latina neighborhood, a street well known for tapas. During La Movida Madrileña, a counterculture movement in the late 1970’s and 80’s, this place was frequented by artists and musicians. 4. La Potente

Head to the terrace at La Potente for a mid-day drink session on Sundays and listen to old Spanish music. 9. La Vía Láctea
